CODEBRICK beta terms
Version 2026-11-05b
These terms cover your use of CODEBRICK and BRICKBOT during the beta. They add to the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. Where they differ, these beta terms apply.
1. This is a beta
- CODEBRICK is still being built. Features can change, break or be removed at any time, without notice.
- We may change, reset, limit or delete beta features and beta data, and we may end the beta, or your access to it, at any time and without notice. Download your data regularly with Export all my data on Settings › Privacy.
- Some features are switched off for beta workspaces until we have checked them.
2. Free, with starter credits
- The beta is free. No money is exchanged.
- New testers who sign up with an invite code get 1,000 starter credits. BRICKBOT answers and Revit actions use them up; when they run out, those features stop until we add more. Commands that do not use AI and site research are free and keep working.
- We may add, change or remove credits at any time. Credits have no cash value and are not refundable.
3. Verify every answer with the authority having jurisdiction
- BRICKBOT’s answers, code references, site research and Revit actions are drafting aids. They are not professional advice and not an approval.
- Code data, city records and research sources can be incomplete, out of date or wrong.
- You, as the licensed professional, are responsible for your drawings and filings. Verify every answer with the authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) and the adopted code before you rely on it.
- Check every change BRICKBOT makes in Revit before you issue a drawing.
4. No warranty, limited liability
- The beta is provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranty of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted service.
- To the extent the law allows, Codebrick LLC is not liable for losses caused by using the beta, including lost data, delays, rework, or decisions based on an answer.
- Our total liability for all claims relating to the beta is limited to the greater of the value of the credits granted to you or one hundred US dollars (US$100).
5. Your data
- Your projects, files and chats belong to you or your workspace. You give us the right to store and process them to run CODEBRICK for you, and for the uses below. Your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
- BRICKBOT’s answers come from an AI provider, Anthropic’s Claude models. To answer, we send Anthropic your message and the project context it needs. Anthropic does not train models on this content.
- We use your content to improve CODEBRICK only if a workspace admin turns on "Help improve CODEBRICK" (off by default). Files marked "Do not use for training", chats that used them, confidential projects and your code books (with the chats that quote them) are always excluded.
- We never sell your data. We share de-identified data with partners only if your office admin turns that on. That setting is "Allow sharing de-identified data with partners" (off by default, separate from "Help improve CODEBRICK"). Only then may we share de-identified data from that workspace with partners. Files marked "Do not use for training", chats that used them, confidential projects and your code books (with the chats that quote them) are always excluded. Turning it off stops future sharing; data already shared cannot be recalled. Today no data is shared with any partner.
- When you share a chat to a project Library, its code answers may be added, de-identified, to CODEBRICK’s shared library of code answers, where they stay unverified until a platform admin checks them. This does not depend on the "Help improve CODEBRICK" setting. Private chats, chats that used a "Do not use for training" file, and confidential projects never feed it.
- Projects marked confidential get extra protection. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
- You can delete files and projects in the app, and your whole account (section 7). Beta data may be reset or deleted at any time (section 1).
6. Feedback
- Please send feedback with the Feedback button or to helpme@codebrick.ai. We reply within 1 business day.
- We may use your feedback to improve CODEBRICK, with no obligation to you. We never publish your project data as part of it.
7. Your account, BRICKBOT, and how to leave
- Keep your sign-in to yourself. Sign out BRICKBOT on shared computers.
- Use CODEBRICK only for lawful work on projects you are allowed to work on.
- BRICKBOT runs inside your copy of Revit and changes your model only after you confirm the change on screen. To answer questions it reads model data, which it sends to CODEBRICK as described in section 5.
- You can stop using the beta at any time. Before you leave, download your data with Export all my data.
- To leave, use Delete account at the bottom of Settings, or email legal@codebrick.ai from the address on your account. Workspaces where you are the only member are deleted. In a shared workspace you are removed, and what you added stays with the workspace, shown as a former member. If you are the only Super admin of a shared workspace, make someone else Super admin first. Deleted content leaves the service at once; copies in routine backups age out with the backup cycle.
- We may end your beta access at any time, without notice.
